November 30, 2016 (Greensboro, NC) — Home improvements or shopping for a new home will never be the same after the educational “Proof Is Possible” Tour came to Greensboro. Building science gurus and YouTube personalities, Grace and Corbett Lunsford, are completing a nationwide tour in the world’s highest-performing tiny house on wheels, which they built, tested, and affectionately dubbed the #TinyLab – and it’s going to be on display in Greensboro next week.
By teaching consumers and contractors alike to use scientific testing to prove the work gets done to quality standards, homeowners are assured their home is comfortable, healthy and efficient, which is why the builders and founders of the tour, Corbett and Grace Lunsford, called it the “Proof is Possible” tour.
On Thursday, December 8th, Proof Is Possible rolled into Greensboro, NC from 10 A.M – 4 P.M and hosted by the Greensboro Builders Association, 115 S. Westgate Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407. The TinyLab was open for tours from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. and again at 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. with a special lunch and learn workshop in between for the public to understand how this Tiny House is, as the Huffington Post articles says, a “grown up” version of their own home, from noon to 1:30 P.M.
Columbia Forest Products, headquartered in Greensboro, is sponsored the tour stop. Columbia manufactures formaldehyde-free PureBond® decorative hardwood plywood, which was used exclusively throughout the interiors of #TinyLab.
“The days of disastrous home improvements, guessing how to fix your home, wondering if your house is making your family sick and ‘money pits’ are over,” said Corbett Lunsford, who, with his wife, wants to revolutionize the home market by educating consumers, real estate professionals, designers, architects, builders, remodelers and other contractors.
Todd Vogelsinger, Director of Marketing for Columbia Forest Products, said that “People are eager to understand more about their homes, in terms of air quality, material choices, and energy savings, but often they don’t know who to call, nor how to ask about these things.
