UNC-Greensboro Design Students Visit Our Old Fort, NC Facility

Last week our Old Fort, NC Columbia Forest Products mill was pleased to host some student visitors from UNC-Greensboro. The students who designed the Solar Decathlon House visited our facility to see first-hand how hardwood plywood that was used in the project was made and to achieve a greater understanding of our PureBond, formaldehyde-free technology. The students were quite impressed with how hard the plant employees work and the hospitality offered by the entire group at Old Fort, in fact, the students said that we made them feel “Like Columbia’s Best Customer”!!!
