Columbia Forest Products Introduces The FinishLine™ -- A Comprehensive Collection of Pre-Finished Hardwood Plywood Options
Greensboro, NC – Columbia Forest Products has brought together its expanding range of pre-finished options for its hardwood plywood to create The FinishLine™, to save fabricators time and money. The FinishLine brings together for the first time several clear, stained and primed factory finishes in one product collection.
• UV Wood™ for a durable, VOC-free, UV-cured, clear top coat;
• CustomColors™ for custom-matched stained projects
• UV LabCoat™ for a lab grade, chemical-resistant finish, certified by the Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association (SEFA);
• FirstStep™, pre-primed panels for projects that will eventually be painted.
When combined with Columbia's EPA award-winning PureBond® formaldehyde-free hardwood plywood technology, these VOC-free, pre-finished treatments will enhance and improve projects that require the highest standards for appearance, performance and indoor air quality.
Since 1996, Columbia Forest Products has delivered over 20 million pre-finished panels to the industry. Fabricating customers appreciate both the time and cost savings in their facilities and the added benefit of no VOC emissions.
"The new FinishLine™ collection gives our customers a one-stop resource that can relieve them of one of the worst bottlenecks in today's wood shop – finishing their wood," explained Tom Pearsall, Manager of Marketing and New Product Development.
"Many shops tell us that our pre-finished panels save them days in production, while ensuring a beautiful, consistent finish. And we all know that time is money and quality sells," says Pearsall.
